Moore Stephens established an office in
Gibraltar in 1988 and at present has a staff of 17 with
legal and banking as well as accounting backgrounds.
Gibraltar’s unique position as a Dependent Territory of a Member State gives full access to the European Union.
The Financial Services Commission established by the Financial Services Commission Ordinance of 1989 is responsible for the supervision and regulation of the sector and is subject to regular review by the UK authorities to ensure that standards of supervision match those of the UK.
The majority of the work is trust and company management with
a special emphasis on High Net Worth Individuals.
